Description

Sarah is a 7 yr old 15.1 H 1300 plus mare. She is out of a foundation dun appaloosa mare and a registered APHA black and white roping stud. She was used for years in the high school rodeo circuit in Alabama as a header and heeler and in barrels. She is now used for trails and fun day events and christmas parades. She is borrowed by our friends who have levels of experience from very novice to intermediate. She will team rope either side, run barrels, pick up, carpet race, working cow horse, or one barrel. She is a real ham and a joy to be around. She is a real people horse and thinks she is a dog... but get her in the ring, and she will eat it up! Not ring sour in any way. She will run in or walk in and stand. No problems about being strung out or not calming down. Not roping box soured either. She has more personality than most people i know and is easy to do what ever when ever. I take her to MIssouri every year at the Cross Country Trail ride for 10 days and ride the trails all day and swim her in the river then everyone takes turns on her competing in all the fun day events on show day. I would like her to go to a home that will continue to rodeo on her or at least compete in something. She is always current on teeth, shoes, coggins, worming, vaccines. Her feet are excellent and her mouth is nice and soft. She is shod every 8 weeks religiously. Vet and ferrier references available. She has never been sick or lame. I don't think she's ever even been hurt. She is healthy and not mineral deficient and has no problems with anything. We have a baby on the way and can not keep competeing on her. Would concider trades for a good condition squeeze chute or round pen pannels or gates. Will miss her but it is not fair to keep her from something she loves. $3,000.00 or best trade.
