Description

Skippa Roping Chute aka Ed is a 11-year-old Appedix bred finished barrel horse. He has a very big heart and a big personality to go along with it. Ed loves attention from people and has a willing attitude. He is like riding a rocking chair when he lopes and has a really great handle on him. He trots like a pleasure horse. My husband has roped the Buford on him and he really took to it. Ed is also a good trail horse. He runs poles but you really have to keep up with him because he is fast. Ed is a free runner on the barrels and has a big motor. You pretty much leave him alone and let him do his job. He would make a great all-around horse. Before we bought Ed, a little girl was using him in junior rodeos. I was hoping he would be my back up horse, but sadly our styles do not match. I also have realized that with a 16-month-old daughter I hardly have time to ride one horse, let alone two. We really want Ed to go to someone who is going to ride and haul him because he has been on the backburner at our house. I would classify him as 2D-3D depending on the rider. He has not had his legs run off. Ed has no bad habits and clips, hauls, and will stand at the trailer all day. Vet checks are welcome. Asking $5500 but will take offers. A good home is a must! We haven't had a chance to disk our riding area so my husband did not run him full out on the pattern in the video. More videos to come.
