16 year old flea bitten gray Appendix Quarter horse Gelding. He is an awesome trail horse just took him two weeks ago out on the trail and he did great. It had just rained when i took him. We went to Walter Hill, and if you have ever been to Walter hill after it rains you know about the slides. He does great on the slides. depending on how big he will either slide with his back feet and walk with his front feet, or he will slide with all four feet( only on lager slides).Had not problems going through the rivers and had no problem going through the gullies. Went through one gully that was almost straight up on one side and he handled it like it was nothing. Loads in trail, and stands for vet. He will stand for farrier but does not like to have back shoes put on. Rebel will also cross bridges and creeks, also will jumps logs. Rebel is also trained to be a Hunter jumper, he will jump up to 4 foot on a lunge line but I personally have only jumped him 2'5". He will go higher if asked. He also knows the barrel and pole patterns but have not worked on them in a while so would need to have them refreshed. I have also had younger children on him and he is a great baby sitter, has also had a little western pleasure training but has not worked on it in a while. He likes to jump so that is what we have been working on and he loves it. Would make an awesome 4-h horse, for some kid. He is 15.3-16 hands tall. Does not act like he is 16 he acts much younger. He has front shoes on right now but does not have to have them; he has good hard feet and is awesome on the ground. Lounges real nice, Clinton Anderson lounging techniques were used to teach him to lounge. There is no spook in this boy, he is an awesome Gelding. 3000 obo.
