Description

BLUE STAR and AL KHAMSA eligible Arabian mare. BUKRA descends in all lines from horses of the Bedouin tribes of the Arabian peninsula. I have owned BUKRA for 10 years, since she was a yearling, and trained her using natural horsemanship methods. She has perfect ground manners and is a dream to ride. Sensitive to the lightest cues, both in the saddle and on the ground, she is calm and has been ridden on trails. She has had two foals and is an easy breeder, no problems foaling, a good dam. She has been ridden only with a rope hackamore, never had a bit in her mouth. She was not ridden until she was five years old. She needs a sensitive rider with light hands.
