Description

Introducing, ZAHARA a 2004 KWPN mare by Contango out of a Roemer mare. Zahara is a 16.1 hand solid chestnut with a star. She started her career under saddle as a three and a half year old. She’s very attentive and a pleasure to work with.
Zahara is a forward thinking and a motivated horse with three correct basic gaits.
She is very bold and has been ridden cross country extensively, both with other horses, and alone. Zahara has had cavaletti and low cross rail work for fun.
Her work includes leg yield, shoulder in/haunches in and counter canter, and she has recently been started in flying changes, which are progressing nicely. Zahara trailers well, clips, turns out and stands for the farrier. Zahara loves people and really enjoys being groomed. She has always been sound and healthy and has no vices.

Zahara will work well with a confident rider who wants a young horse to train to the higher levels.
