Victorie (born: June 18, 1998) and Valco (born: May 6, 1998) were imported from Holland in 2005 by our family. They have been a driving team since 2000 and while in Holland they performed in parades, shows; including on an ice skating ring and carried the Queen of the Netherlands on two separate occasions. They are pictured here driving through the streets of a small town in Holland prior to purchasing them. At the time, I was very much a beginner driver, so I set out to find a team of Friesians that were seasoned in many different venues, who be forgiving to me as a beginner driver and would allow me to learn from them. We have small children so it was tremendously important to have a team that would be safe for the entire family and would allow us to expand our horse business to include weddings, and carriage rides. Vic and Val were a perfect match. Within the first two months of being importated, they were invited into Hall of Fame Game Parade in Cooperstown, NY; escorting the 2004 World Series Champions Boston Red Sox. Since their import, they have been utilized in hundreds of weddings, carriage rides, demonstrations (including an invited performance at the Equine Affaire Pfizer Fantasia show in front of thousands of people) and this team has had the opportunity to drive for many dignitaries. Their experience is diverse and impressive! During the past year, Vic and Val have been out to pasture while we have been raising our young family. As a collective family decision we have sadly decided to offer Vic and Val for sale. This website is designed to offer any prospective buyer more information on the team, as well as, carriages we used with them (which we are selling separately). We paid a tremendous amount of money for this team, but are only asking a fraction of their original price. It is more important that they go to a good home and be utilized.
