Description

This mare won the Norwegian national Championship for NLs in dressage, junior in 2010. The breed, Nordland, also called NLs is a well kept Norwegian secret. The breed goes back to the Viking ages, and has been the farm help for small farmers in the north of Norway for centuries. Today there are only about 3000 horses of this breed in the world, most of them in their home country Norway, but also a few in Denmark and Sweden.
It is a pony sized horse, well suited for children, but this strong and willing breed also carries adults without problems. The breed is also a fine cartinghorse, used for pony trotting, and some of them even has four different movements, like the Icelandhorse.

We are willing to sell our 10-y o mare, Snopy, to someone who will introduse the breed to Canada, US or other European countries.
