Description

Oats is a quiet mare. She has been started under saddle, has not offered to rear, buck, or kick under saddle. We have taken her to a local show and she spooked at nothing. She vets well and has been farriered regularly. Her last trim was Jan 25. Up to date on all vaccinations, negative coggins along with rabies and other shots on 09/19/2009. We have had the vet out every spring and fall since we have had her. She has had no health problems whatsoever. She needs someone experienced who can work with her consistantly so she can progress in her training. She does well when worked consistantly, but sometimes have to back up in her training and remind her when it has been a while. Unfortunatly, we just have not been able to do that, and I want her (and her sister I will also be listing) to go to a loving home that is experienced with horses that will take care of her and ride her, she just needs a firm rider/trainer to help her be her best. She stands about15.2 hh. She is red roan/sorrel, beautiful markings. When she sheds her winter fur, she shines like a diamond. We love her very much and will miss her, but need to sell her because we know that is what is best for her and to get a more experienced horse for our kids.
