Ghost is a 14.1H 12 year old POA appaloosa pony gelding. He is one fantastic pony. My daughter has done it all with him. She took him to two judged trail rides last summer and got 1st place in one of them and 3rd place in the other one. He did all of the obstacles like a champ. For those of you who have never been to a judged trail ride they put very scary obstacles out there on the trail and the horse has to complete them. He is an awesome trail pony and very non spooky. Ghost also places very well at the shows. Last year my daughter did a series of shows at Old Oak Farm and she rode in 20 classes, both English and Western. At the awards banquet she got 17 trophies for either grand champion or reserve grand champion. Ghost participates with my daughter in 4-H drill team and is not afraid of flags, cows, etc. My daughter uses Ghost in 4-H events and pony club events. He has been ridden on some cross country fields. Ghost and Kendra got first place at 4-H county round up and also placed in the trail class which took them to Districts two years in a row. At districts there must have been 17 kids in her class and they placed 5th. Not well enough to go to states, but darn close and again a huge accomplishment. Ghost has flying lead changes and even if the kid riding doesn’t know what they are doing...Ghost knows when to switch. My daughter takes him to riding lessons at two farms on a weekly basis. One they work more on dressage and ground work and the other they do a lot of jumping. Ghost is a great jumper. My daughter is 12 and has been riding Ghost for the last two years.
