do you have a young child that is learning to ride but is kinda frightened buy some horses and maybe you have had a bad experience with a horse but would love to ride again to get your confidence back up!! well I have a 1984 paint gelding for sale, I am asking 1500 for him, he is in great condition and would make a great youth horse or lesson horse for someone...he is a great beinners horse. the reason for selling is I don't have the time anymore with work and raising my daughter to get over to the barn and ride him and give him the attention he deserves, he was number one youth in ny state for the apha in 1996 and number 3 youth in the eastern state paint horse club, he was extensively shown youth ametuer and 4h, he does very well in western pleasure and hunter under saddle...his registered name is spanish champ...he was sold by me back in 1997 and I bought him back in 2002 to just ride him again and maybe do open shows, I sold him for 6500 the first time and bought him back for 8500. He is worth to me a million bucks, but he needs a good home where he will be ridden and shown..also has been used in 4h for games and did very well for a inexperienced youth on his back, he doesn't miss a beat...you could not ride him for months and take him out of the field and take him to a show and win!! he is not a forgetful horse at all. he knows what he is doing and knows how to win, has done alot of trail riding also...so if your looking for the perfect horse here he is!! I am asking $$1500 for him but will consider all offers but I will need to inspect where he is going and if I think he will suit you for a horse, he will not just go to any farm and if you feel you want to get rid of him I will be the first one to be called, please... you may call me at 585-329-2885(cell) or at 315-923-7340 for more information sorry for the small pic it is one off my phone that i had to take of him from another picture, my digital camera is broke and my scanner of course isn't compatible with the computer I have now, ( i wish I knew that before I bought the computer, hehehe) well thanks alot and call anytime!! also he is boarded in wolcott ny so if you are interested in seeing him I will have to make arrangements for us to go over and take a look at him with my trainer.. oh the only bad thing about him is he does crib, but when he is in the pasture he doesn't crib at all!! He is a show horse and was stalled for 3 quarters of his life and show horses tend to pick these sort of things up, they get bored really easily he has done it for years and it doesn't effect his health, he also has a thyroid condition which he is on meds for and the vet says he has had for a long time just was never checked out until I bought him back again, it doesn't effect him at all, as long as you give him his meds in the morning he will live for a really really long time, who knows maybe with out the meds he would have lived a very long time anyways!! but don't think just because of his age or his condition he isn't worth 1500 because I have been told he is worth more and people can't believe i am asking only 1500 for him!! those who know him know he is just about the best horse around and you won't get anything better for this price, I just need to sell him asap, because of expenses and that is why he is priced so cheaply...well thanks alot and serious inquirys please call, he is waiting for a loving new home!!!
