Description

Mackie is a 15.3 h registered paint gelding with a great mind and even better movement. He listens well and loves to please and is sweet natured. He trailers well and is easily to handle. He ground ties very well too.

He has no vices. He is up to date on vaccinations (including Strangles)and deworming... Well-trained and soft in the mouth and responds quickly. He needs a firm but gentle hand. Lots of miles on the trail but needs a confident rider. He gets a little spooky with unconfident/scared riders. He was purchased for me to train as a yearling, but I started university a year later and have only been getting busier every year.

He loves to run and due to his really nice conformation, low hocks, and sharp turns, he would make an excellent barrel racing horse. He would also make a great amateur reining horse, dressage horse or jumper. He has had 1 month of professional training and 4 years by me (with guidance) and does everything from side stepping to spinning. he has been started in sliding stops and backs up smoothly and straight and can also back up into an L shape (for trail), picks up proper lead easily and should be able to do flying lead changes with no problem as he is very athletic.
