Description

Thunderous Applause, "Thunder", is a very flashy 8, going on 9 in September, year old paint gelding. As you can see in some of the pictures,his face is half paralyzed due to an injury a few years ago (full medical records are available - please feel free to e-mail or call for more information), but it is more of a characteristic than an impairment.

He stands around 15hh. He is mainly ridden English, but can go western and loves racing around barrels for fun! He is great on trail rides and on the road - he has been hacked out for an hour or two at a time and can be ridden on a loose reign and is pretty quiet. He has been to one show already, and handled it well - even came home with some ribbons! He loves kids - and even gave pony rides to a whole troop of girl scouts, but requires an experienced rider at anything over a walk.

He is great at the walk and trot, but does get a little fast and excited at the canter and while jumping, because he hasn't been worked consistently recently and his paralysis makes it a bit harder for him to feel the bit pressure. He just needs a refresher - so he will need an experienced rider or someone with a good trainer. Once you get a feel for him, and he for you, he is eager to please!

He is UTD on shots/vaccinations and has a current coggins. He has also been barefoot his entire life.

Has to be sold because both owners are going to college in the fall. Asking $2,000 or best offer.
