Description

Montana is a 9 year old black and white Paint Gelding. He is approximately 15.2hh and he has a nice stocky build. He could easily carry a large adult. Montana will go english or western. He neck reins and is very light on the mouth. He knows how to move off leg and backs well. Montana can do a nice slow jog or can really extend if you ask him to. He has a nice slow lope and is a really comfy ride. I would say that he is more woah than go but he will move right out with just a verbal command when asked. He is not a poke but he will not go any faster than you ask him to. He is really quiet in the ring and on the trail. He will go through whatever you ask him to. He has plenty of trail miles on him and is fine out on the trail in a group or alone. He has exceptional ground manners. He will stand for mounting and dismounting. Leads quietly and is very respectful of your space. Picks up feet and is great for the farrier and vet. Good with other horses. Stands quietly for for brushing and tacking. Would be a great family horse, husband horse, 4H, or trail companion! $3000
