She is a beautiful dark bay (almost black) mare with a star that is smooth riding, easy to catch, and just really fun to ride. She has the really thick, long flowing mane and tail and reminds us of a Spanish dancing girl. She has been ridden in parades and in the mountains. She's not spooky and she carefully picks her way through rocky terrain. She loads like a dream and has produced a gentle, smooth riding, large colt. At 14 h and 11 years of age, with loads of exposure, this young lady is just what you're looking for. Raven is not recommended for a timid beginner, but has been ridden on the trails by confident beginners. She is currently being used as a lesson horse for advanced beginners.
