Sugar, as her name implies is kind loving and sweet. A nice horse who is great to be around on the
ground or when riding. She is a bay Overo Paint, who is bred to be a cutting horse. She is currently
being used as a lesson horse. She has been used for beginner western lessons. She is trained for
dressage and jumping. She likes it and is great at it. Currently a 1st Level schooling Dressage.
Honest reliable talented jumper. Sugar is fun and easy to ride bareback with just a halter, or under
saddle (English or western). Sugar is willing and easy to train and has been used in lessons. She
has three good comfortable gaits. She backs, sidepasses, does forehand turns, haunch turns, and
picks up her leads. She has been shown in dressage and jumping. She did well for her young 12 yr old
rider in showing. Sugar also loves to go on trail rides in groups, or if you would like to explore
the trail on your own. She is calm with dogs running by or other wildlife encounters. Sugar gets
along well with other horses in the field, show ring or the arena. Sugar can be ridden and enjoyed
by any level of rider in shows, around the farm, or on the trail. She could certainly be an All
Around horse and would probably take to working cattle very quickly. She is athletic, yet reliable,
safe, and trustworthy. Sugar is current on all shots, worming, and hoof care. She is good for the
farrier and vet. She loads and hauls quietly. This fancy little horse lives in the Grants Pass area
of Southern Oregon.
