2002 - AQHA gorgeous blue roan mare with Frenchman’s Sox, PC Sun Sox, and Sun Frost in her pedigree. “Blue” has been used for roping, cattle round ups, extensive trail riding, lessons with kids of all ages, cow work, packing in the mountains, and all around ranch work. She is quiet minded and willing to learn anything you present. She loads, bathes, clips, shoes, stands quiet for fly spray, travels behind a 4 wheeler with ease, opens gates from the saddle, and generally has good ground manners.

“Blue” has a solid foundation on all basic arena maneuvers which include: roll backs, side passes, pivots on both forehand and hindquarter, leg yields, half passes, flying lead changes and was just started with some basic jumping where she responded quickly, and with ease. She is very soft and responsive, and has the ability to go all day on the range, or just mosey along with kids on her back. She has given many pony rides to children of all ages while being used on a family dude operation for the past year. At 16 H she is built to go the distance in the hills which she does quite often in the off season.

We have a trainer hired for 3-4 days each week all year long so our horses are in good solid condition. They consistently receive regular exercise, and get lots of exposure to obstacles, and new surroundings Blue is comfortable with tarps, ropes, logs and fallen tress, barrels, dragging heavy objects, bridges, water crossings, bags filled with cans, mailboxes, pedestals, stick and string, 4 wheelers, cars, and even heavy equipment. Up to date on shots and worming. If you’re looking for a horse with potential for almost any direction you might want to go, this is one to look at closely.
