Kid broke, level headed Quarter horse. I bought Sonny for my daughter to show in KSHA and now she
wants to show in PtHA. If I could find a spot on him I would keep him. Sonny is a great beginner or
amateur horse. My daughter learned to canter on him. He is fairly smooth for a large horse and has a
trot to die for. My daughter won walk-trotter of the year on him in our local organization. He was
originally trained for pleasure and equitation but we have not done much with him in equitation
since Bailey moved up to canter classes.
He has not hardly shown this year and we don't
even have shoes on him right now as my daughter has only been riding him in the pasture since we
have mostly gone to Pinto shows this year. He can extend and has been ridden HUS and was trained for
Showmanship. As we had a HUS and Showmanship horse we have done very little with him in these
aspects as well. He trail rode with his prior owner before we purchased him but as all we do is show
we have done very little of this with him either. He is dead broke but can go all day long. He has a
lot of character and LOVES attention. He would stand and let you brush him all day long and will
follow you around the pasture like a puppy. He has been both stalled and pastured. Smart enough to
get in the shelter in a storm. Very little rattles him. He has been pastured with other horses and
by himself. He is not the dominant horse in the pasture.
Don't let this good horse go
to waiste! He is to good to be sitting in our pasture. Put this horse to work for you. Would
consider a lease to the right individual.
