PRICE REDUCED* Rico is a handsome 18 year old registered AQHA gelding. He is approx. 14.3-15hh and is as gentle as can be.
According to his papers, Rico was born in Red Oak, Iowa. Was bought and moved to Wyoming, then bought and moved to NC. He has cow experience, but we don't know to what extent.
He is awesome on trails and we've given a 9 year old girl lessons on him and he took great care of her. Her grandmother also took a reluctant "spin" on him and he was just as gentle. He's definitely a confidence booster. He will go anywhere on trails with saddle or bareback at a calm pace or will step up for some fun but only when asked. Loads on trailer, bathes, stands for farrier, fly spray, saddling and most anything else. We are selling him because we no longer have any time for him. My fiance and I are both in school and working. We each have a horse we raised from birth and just recently bought Rico from a friend who was selling his whole herd. Since Rico has not been with us as long as our "kids" have been, we made this decision. We feel it's better for him to be in a place with plenty of attention and love. UTD on all shots, was wormed on November 10, 2011 and has negative coggins. Will had a fresh trim on 11/6/11. Email for more info or questions. Price is negotiable.
