AQHA reg. mare -- 5 yrs. old. Beautiful gray with dark mane. "Stevie" has an awesome personality -- she will walk right up to you in the field and has a playful and inquisitive personality. The girl who owned her before me took her to rodeos and started her on barrel racing, pole bending, goat tying, breakaway roping -- this mare was doing it all! She has been in a field for a while now while I've been in college, so she will need a little bit of finishing. She had a filly last year (a happy little accident!) and was a great mother (the filly was a gorgeous red roan, the calmest and most spook-proof filly), so she also has great broodmare potential. The only reason I'm selling her is because of time issues -- I bought her and then went to college and got two jobs so I don't have time to rodeo anymore.

Steve has a lot of spirit, is a smart horse, is eager to please, and she can run!! I did some trail riding with her and she is sure-footed -- she was raised in the mountains in West Texas and is smart about where her feet are. With just a little work she could make for a great all-around high school or college rodeo horse, an endurance trail riding horse, a broodmare, a pleasure horse, etc. etc. etc. If it's something athletic, I believe that she can do it!
