Delta is a fancy 8 year old gray gelding that turns heads everywhere he goes. He is 15.2 HH, stout built with a nice hip, good bone, and four black feet. He is AQHA registered as “Six Three Heart”. He is very well bred, tracing back to Poco Bueno, Hancock, King, and Silver Roan Bar. He has been day worked on quite a bit, and has been used to drive, sort, and handle cattle. He will watch a cow. He is extremely gentle to be around and very quiet. He has been ridden down the bar ditch and through town, and traffic does not bother him. He is so laid back that he has been ridden through the drive through, handed food through the window, and never even raised his head. His previous owner was a 70 year old man, and the only reason he sold him was because at his age he wanted to ride a shorter horse. Delta is a pleasure to ride out in the pasture, crosses water with no problem, and is not spooky. He travels out well, rides quiet, and carries his head nice and low. He knows both leads and will do flying lead changes, and he is very athletic. You can open and shut gates on him and he has a good handle. Delta is quiet enough to make a nice ranch or trail horse, but is also the right age to take to the arena and make a performance horse out of. He has been ridden English and Western He will walk quietly all day if that is what you prefer, but will willingly trot and lope if asked.. He can be ridden by himself or with other horses, and he does not mind being separated from the group. You can catch him anywhere.
