Jake is a 11 yr old Quarterhorse gelding. He is approx 15.1 hh. Jake has a really solid build with a broad chest and stocky legs that could easily carry a larger rider. Jake is one of those horses that just makes you feel very safe on his back. He has a really sensible, calm, laid-back attitude about him that would really make great for just about any level rider. He will ride english or western. He has a excellent neckrein. He will walk/trot/canter/back/side pass. He is light on the mouth and moves well off leg. He is more woah than go. Jake is happy to walk out on a loose rein all day long, but will move right into a canter when asked. He has a nice slow jog and slow lope. He can also extend himself nicely as well. Very tolerant and willing to please his rider. Turns around barrels like a pro, great barrel prospect! He is excellent out on the trail. He will walk right out in the front as confident as could be. We had a road grater pass on the road yesterday and he barely flicked an ear it. You can stand right up on his back or side off his butt. He could care less about his rider waving their arms and yelling. He is happy to just follow along on the trail with a complete beginner on his back as well. He takes very good care of his rider. Would make him an excellent husband or family horse. He has excellent ground manners. He is very respectful of his handlers. Ground ties, stands for grooming and tacking, easy to catch, great out with other horses. Jake's calm, willing nature makes him very versatile for a number of disciplines. He would be a great family horse, 4H horse, trail horse, english, or western pleasure. $3,450
