IMA Slick Horse is an 11 year old Quarter Horse gelding. He is approximately 15-15.1hh. Slick is a ranch broke, been there done that kind of guy. He is extremely fun to ride and is very reliable. He has a nice, sturdy Quarter Horse build. He will ride english or western. Slick is super responsive. He steers easily with just your seat and leg. You can maneuver him around a gate, open, and close it without hardly touching your reins. He can spin, roll back, slide pass, and will back clear across the arena. He has amazing brakes and will slide right to a stop. Slick is cow savy and is an ideal horse for roping, sorting, reining, and cutting. He is not a "hot" horse but he has the speed to get you where you want to go when you ask for it. He is very fast to learn patterns and would be an outstanding gymkhana or barrel horse for a youth or adult rider. He has a great work ethic and is most happy with a person on his back. Slick is also great out on the trail and is very happy to trail ride all day long. He would be a great horse for someone who enjoys trail riding long hours or likes to camp out cause he can ride all day. He can also go out alone for a rider that does not always go out with others. He is not spooky at all. Slick has perfect ground manners. He could be lead around, groomed, and tacked by children. He is perfect on and off the trail. Again, he has a been there, done that attitude. Great for bathing, shoeing, and for the vet. Easy horse to work around. He has a very sweet, and friendly personality.
