Description

Swap is a flashy, head turning, show stopping kind of guy. He stands 14.3 hands but he rides like a "BIG" horse. We never go anywhere that people do not comment on what a pretty horse he is. We live in the Shawnee National Forest in Southern IL. we are rated 5th in the United States for awesome trail riding...Swap has been there and done that! He's a wonderful, safe trail horse, he's also great in traffic or riding along the highway. He can rack on with the best of them and he does it in Style!

Swap is current on coggins, he is fully vaccinated, has had his teeth floated this spring, his feet are shod and in excellent condition. He is easy to trim, will stand quietly even for his ears to be clipped out. He is easy to catch, rattle the grain bucket and give a shout and he comes running to the barn! He stands quietly to mount and dismount, once you are settled in the saddle he does not like to stand around waiting. I just get up last when everyone else is ready to head out. He rides in a group or alone, we always take the dog with us so he's used to riding with a dog along.

He is not a horse for a beginner rider, he has too much motor for most beginners. While he is safe for anyone a more experienced rider would be better on him. My 12 year old granddaughter can ride him, but she is also a very experienced rider for a girl her age and not afraid to move out. Swap's only fault is not wanting to stand quietly in a group while you are mounted. I can dismount and stand all day talking, mounted and in a group he likes to be moving. This is his only fault. He is one of the most exciting horses I've ever ridden, I love riding him...so why am I selling him? I have too many horses and not enough time to ride the young ones who need it most. I had to make some difficult choices, Swap drew the short straw...he is the best horse I have to sell. He is one kick butt ride, anyone who wants a safe, confident, steady trail horse that is pretty to watch and a blast to ride would love to own this guy. How he got his name is a story I'll share if you call or contact me to ask about him!
