Dolce is one beautiful horse. He is one of those horses that stop traffic when we ride down the street. Every time we ride him someone stops us and says "what kind of horse is that? He is so beautiful!" Willing beyond words, smooth as can be and just the nicest guy. He will take you any where you want to go with no questions asked. Exceptional gelding with a gorgeous dark chocolate coat and long flaxen mane and tail. Dolce is super easy to handle and ride. He is patient, tolerant and will do what it takes to make his rider happy. His gait are silky smooth and super consistent, no trot and no pace, just gait, gait, gait! When you ride him you float along on the trails, he is super smooth to ride! Very fun to ride he will do a flat walk, running walk, canter and gallop if you want. But, he will walk on a loose rein too. Excellent transitions between gaits, no fancy reining needed, you can gait on a loose rein and sit back and enjoy the ride! Dolce will stand to mount/dismount, listen to leg and verbal cues, lead or follow. He is not spooky or jumpy, he has a laid back demeanor but will go when you cue him. He is a fine trail horse that has passed every challenge we have sent his way with flying colors. Dolce stands quiet in cross ties, gets along well with other horses, stands quiet for the farrier, is easy to bathe, clip, groom load, unload and trailers quiet. He is a great horse all the way around. He is great in traffic, with bikes, skate boarders, in the country, around other horses and other animals, solid mind. If you are looking for a forever friend who will take good care of you on the trail...this is Dolce. He is a beginner and family safe horse and fun enough for intermediate riders too.
