Desay is a sorrel and white Tobiano gelding with a mixed mane and tail, has blaze on face and white streaks down jaw. He stands around 15 hhs tall (900 lbs) and is just breath taking when he is moving out. Des comes from a wide range of horses in his background; from SSHs, Tennessee Walkers and National Sport Horses. He has a very refined build more like a NSH. Many Grand Champions can be found in his pedigree!

Desay has been off for the past two years and has only had a couple of rides during this time. He will need a refresher course but is very smart! He does have a problem riding in a bit and will rear if pushed too hard or is scared. We’re looking for an experienced home for him.

He stands still for his front feet to be trimmed but needs work on the backs. When asked to pick up, he will kick out and not stand still for a trim. Des stays barefoot year round.

He has previous trail experience with former owner. He really needs much more attention then what he is currently getting. Des had good ground manners and does not crowd you. He leads and ties just fine; and has been around dogs.

Desay loads and trailers fine. He has not been in a trailer for two years; but the last time he was in one, he was just fine. He has not been clipped and is a little antsy while getting a bath. If you are slow with him with the water; then he is fine. He ties just fine and is typically very patient.
