JUST REDUCED!!! 13 year old mare, Sassy, is a trail horse used for pleasure riding.
She was pulled from the track at a very young age and trained to be a trail horse for a horse back riding facility. She has never suffered any injuries. She has been placed in our care and currently is being ridden by my daughter who is seven years old. When my daughter was three years old, she began riding Sassy. Sassy is sound and bomb proof. She does not pull, buck or rear. She can lead a trail ride but is best as a drag horse on the trail, since she tends to be a better follower than a leader. She doesn't stray too far ahead of the horse(s) behind her and her temperament is laid back; hence the reason she was pulled off the track. She is easy to handle and can do it all; loading, tying, lunging and more. She is beautiful and always whinnies at us when we come home. She is a trotter/gaited horse; an excellent trotter, and also has a smooth canter. She is an easy keeper with a large build body. Due to job re-location I am unable to keep her.
