Description

Beautiful golden palomino gelding with all the qualities that you would want in a trail horse and friend. Nugget is a super nice guy. He has a snow white mane and tail, gorgeous golden coat and a pretty blaze down his face that brings out his white mane. Nugget is as gentle as they get. He is kind, forgiving and very easy to ride. He is a perfect horse for beginner, families and children. Nugget hits the trail and never looks back. He goes out alone with no issues at all and is as calm as could be. He is extremely sensible and is not spooky acting at all. We have rode him down bust as Vegas streets bareback (he is that good of a horse!) Nugget performs excellent in the arena and on the trail. He will stand perfect to mount/dismount, walk on a loose rein, gait on a loose rein, stop with a "whoa", listen to leg cues and perform a flat walk, running walk and canter for you too. He can do it all and he does it great! Nuggets gaits are very smooth and nice to ride. He has a solid 4 beat gait that he performs effortlessly (no trot or pace). Just a 1-2-3-4-, 1-2-3-4-... His canter is lovely. It is smooth, very easy to ride and super controlled. On top of Nuggets excellent riding performance he is also very sweet on the ground and very well behaved. Like all of our horses his ground manners are flawless. He will stand quiet to bathe, clip, groom, cross tie, shoe, worm, saddle, bridle and he loads/unloads, trailers with ease. Nugget has been exposed to deer, turkeys, ATV's, bicycles, cars, trucks, semi's, dogs, tarps, plastic bags, sprinklers, high winds... He is great in the country and reliable in the city. Take him down the street, through the creek over the logs, up the mountain or down the hill. You will have a great ride on this confidence builder. Those lacking confidence, needing a gentle reliable mount, looking for a great trail horse that family and friends can enjoy look no further. This Golden Nugget has it all!
