16 1/2hh 8yo grey roan mare. jockey club registered under the name "Virginia Times", VA bred, but never raced or even trained for racing. USEF life registered under the name Mi Amor. Madison is a lovely mare with lots of talent. Solid 3' hunter and does well up through the 3'6" jumpers. And has schooled up to 4'. goes nicely into a frame and tries to please. Places in hunter and jumper shows, especially over fences and does well in pleasure classes. Can be shown and schooled in a french link D. She gets right on a trailer, body clips, bathes, the whole deal and has no vices. Gets along with other horses, and is very easy to keep weight on, and has been on field board for about the past year without any issues. farrier says she has great feet. She is a barn favorite. Would be great for an experienced junior or adult looking to move up or be competitive in the 3' classes.
*madison does require coffin joint injections every 8 to 12 months due to VERY MILD osteoarthritis, but with the injections she can and will do anything. Vet said its an easy fix and injections will be all that are required (piedmont vet is her vet). started in 2010.
