Description

Quasar is an 12 year old Welsh cross, 14.1 hh, dark bay, eye-catching pony. He is a flashy mover with 3 comfortable and smooth gaits. He has done lower level dressage including some lateral movement. Quasar has a light mouth,is sensitive to aids, and has a large stride. Quasar is very scopey and loves to jump. He is consistently jumping 2’9” and has jumped up to 3’3”. He has schooled cross country and loves to be on the trail. Lunges, as well as free lunges, consistently and has done lunge lessons. Quasar has a puppy dog personality, and loves to be groomed! Very calm (lets me lie on his back in his stall & ride him bareback with a halter and lead rope). Stands on the crossties and stands and behaves himself for vet and farrier. Sound and healthy with no medical problems. He has done hunter/equitation shows. He has also done USEA rated combined tests and is ready to move up with the right rider to full eventing. Suitable for a 4-Her or a D-2/D-3 level pony clubber. Would be a good pony for the Short Stirrup, Pre-Childrens, & Childrens classes as well. Loving home is a must! Sadly outgrown!
