"Bay" has been a real good mare for us. She has taught me alot thru the years while learning the basics for working cowhorse.Attended a few clinics with Montey Bruce.Montey Bruce started "Bay" when she was 4yrs old with 4mo. training. She has never offered to buck or kick. She is responsive to leg Q's, neck reins well. She can be a bit stiff in the bit when not ridden alot but softens easily. She is the horse that we put all our kids friends on when they want to go trail riding or ride horse for the first time.I do recommend her for a confident beginner on a trail.She is a nice size mare.My 9 yr old daughter used her last year as a walk trot horse and horsemanship class at the co. fair. "Bay" does short stride at a canter and due to this is recommended primarily as a trail horse. She has not been on supplements which would be benificial to her.She is a great trail horse and would like to see her go to a family that wants a great horse to trail ride or ride around the farm. Last weekend we road horse along railroad tracks when a train was coming, the train blew its whistle scaring all the other horse but "Bay". She will cross water and go over bridges with no problems. She can't run like she use to but her biggest asset is SHE IS A SAFE RIDE and CAN BE A CONFIDENCE BUILDER. Current deworming,vax & dental work. If finances allowed, I would NEVER sell her. Price negotiable to the right home.
