NEVER LONGE AGAIN! "Opie" has BEEN THERE, DONE THAT. Was a 3' show Hunter until he was 6, when I purchased him. Trained Natural Horsemanship the past 7 Years. SLOW and METHODICAL.,, and BUILT UPHILL.! Trained WESTERN / DRESSAGE / ENG. PLEASURE / HUNTER OVER FENCES. I have even roped the dummy off of him! He couldnt care less about the ROPE SWINGING BY HIS HEAD... Nothing bothers him, NO surprises! Would take your child to the State 4-H Show in Model Hunter, Hunter OF, English Pleasure, Western Pleasure and Equ! Bathe, Trailer, Clip with BODY Clippers... even his EARS, no kidding. He has been on trail rides, he's not the BRavest trail horse, but goes in company and has even been IN THE LAKE. You can ride him once a month, he'll ride like you rode every day. NO LONGING. Jumps on the buckle at a SLOW canter, and LOVES LOVES to jump. .... no "rating" or holding him on course. I have taught beginner lessons on him, he is Wonderful to teach the canter or cross rails. He will NOT GET AHEAD of your student. Low level dressage, he has the beginnings of canter Pirouette. Has his Changes. Canter depart. Rides in Snaffle or Shanked western bit - YOU choose. Nice gaits... a bit 'pokey!' Does not get Riled if you carry whip or ride with spurs. Super slow collected western JOG / LOPE, Nice TROT, SMOOTH Canter. I bet he would love to go X Country, although I have not done that with him. *** *** He is SOUND, SAFE, and SANE! Great "HUSBAND HORSE", a horse you can put your non-horsey friend who is visiting on! Can MULTI-TASK; ie: Ride English in the morning and Western in the afternoon! ... Straight legged, with REAL HOOVES good size and Quality. Front shoes only and EASY Keeper... just loves his hay. Chewing he is a happy camper, doesnt even care if you turn everyone else out. He Has lived and can live 100% INSIDE... does not affect his brain. My 4 year old daughter rides him... my 10 yo too. Pic with child up was taken yesterday. P>S> I paid for SUPER SIZE photos only to find that they DISTORT ... this is a Short Backed horse, he looks T -O -O L-O-N-G in the super size photos... (wont do that again) BTW: Western rider is 5'8", Hunt seat rider is 5'7"
