Pikasso is an 18-year-old Hanoverian dressage schoolmaster. Suitable for anyone to learn on with a great mind, correct training, and an easy to sit trot. Easy lateral work. This horse is just neat. I have known Pikasso for 11 years, and he has what it takes to make you into a really correct dressage rider. He’s got two really cool things going for him – he responds beautifully to correct riding, rewarding you when you are correct, and he doesn’t get frustrated or hard to ride when you are not. It’s like he’s personally encouraging you to get it right. He is, above all things, kind.

He has excellent lateral work and an easy to sit trot. He goes equally well in the snaffle or the double, hacks out alone or in groups. He does crib, but controllable with a cribbing strap. Trailers like a dream. Stands fine for shoer and vet – basically a really good boy.

Pikasso is by Pik Winland, who stood at Garland Farms, where I worked for two years. His original owner worked with Gina and me at Garland, then hosted my GA clinics for years. She competed Pikasso extensively through 2nd level, but then work got in the way of competing him higher. Two years ago, a couple, both students of mine and novice riders, bought him. Relationship trouble has put Pikasso on the market again.
